James Kyson, the Hollywood actor, is no stranger to bold dreams of heroism. He is well known for starring as Ando Masahashi on the NBC television series Hereos. The actor says from his youth, when asked what he would like to be when he grew up, he said, ‘an astronaut, a secret agent, or even a president.’
‘Today’ he said, ‘I am an astronaut of the mind, body and the soul.I’m a story listener and a storyteller. I’m all about adventures and exploration into uncharted territories. The thing that I love the most in life is learning. I’ve always been driven by my curiosity, and I’ve always been an explorer, meaning geographically, physically, mentally, spiritually.
When I thought of wanting to be an astronaut, a secret agent or a President, I thought the only way I could be those things is as an actor. I have always been fascinated by space, and continue,even today, to dream of going to space which I plan to do that within my lifetime. I still see mryself as an astronaut, being of service to mankind.’
